KETZEREY – das mini Post/Black Metal Festival im Druckluft Oberhausen! Einlass: 18 Uhr // Beginn: 19 Uhr mit dabei sind: AUßERWELT: Außerwelt sind eine Post Metal-Band aus Münster, gegründet im Jahr 2011. Ihre Musik verwischt Genregrenzen, wobei sie von Blastbeats und modernen Black Metal-Arrangements zu Post/Progressive Rock-Elementen, Melodic Death/Doom und Country Music-Einfärbungen reicht. Die Vocals haben eine große Bandbreite von Screams über Growls bis zu mehrstimmigem Gesang. Die aktuelle EP „The Obsidian Ascent | The Panoptical I“ erschien 2022 über Moment Of Collapse Records. FRIGORIS: FRIGORIS is a post black metal band rooted in the heart of the ruhr-area, Germany. The combination between Black Metal riffing and craftsmanship as well as a postmodern approach towards atmosphere and lyrics form a synthesis that results in long, atmospheric but melodious songs. The isolation and depression in modern society, the beauty of nature and a last pure shimmer of hope left are all tropes you can feel and read in the tracks. The trampled and narrow paths of Black Metal are left behind to find a new identity at the end of Parnassus. A mixture of the best elements of previous releases and the continuous exploration of new grounds led to the formation of the fourth album “…in Stille” (…in silence). Even more integration of Doom and Post elements as on “Nur ein Moment…” are combined with the more dense and focused writing style that was present on “Wind” which form the current peak of the forth going growth of FRIGORIS. ASCIAN: In 2018 the four musicians from Brunswick and Würzburg gathered to sow misery that will flow in endless streams. Combining inspirations from Doom and Post and Black Metal they create a unique sound of leaden vibes: Hopeless and gloomy, yet filled with a glimmer of melancholy that shines through the dark. Right after forming the band and writing the first songs ASCIAN already took the chances to spread their new found gloom on stage supporting acts like HUNDRED YEAR OLD MAN, KHEMMIS and Moonspell as well as ROTTING CHRIST and got hailed for their dark and atmospheric live shows. Their first record „ELYSION“ was mixed and mastered by doom metal mastermind Déhà – famously of Slow, Cult of Erinyes and Merda Mundi – and was released on October, 2nd via Black Sunset Records. ASCIAN are currently recording their follow up album which will be released in 2024. Leave all hope behind – Misery is ahead. TIEFSTAND: Melancholic Black Metal from Bavaria, was released as a solo project by S.J. in 2022. Atmospheric riffs and melancholic vocals meet fast drums. Lyrically it is about personal feelings and personal perception of life. The project is supported live by members of Agasch, Inumbrate and Kummervoll and will perform live for the first time in 2024. CENDRE: Cendre wurde im Jahr 2017 als Post Black Metal Band in Dortmund gegründet. Am 15. Oktober 2021 veröffentlichten sie ihr erstes unabhängiges Release „Eris“, welches sich musikalisch an den Bands des Church of Ra Kollektivs orientiert. Im Jahr der Veröffentlichung wurden sie außerdem ein Teil des UNTIER Kollektivs – einem Künstlerkollektiv mit sehr viel Herzblut und Leidenschaft, bestehend aus einigen nordrhein-westfälischen Bands aus dem Drone-, Noise-, Post- und Black-Metal-Bereich.
